Fees
Students total course fees include textbooks and course materials.
Deferral Suspension or Cancellation
Sarina Russo Institute reserves the right to suspend or cancel a student's enrolment at any time due to misbehaviour or otherwise any conduct in breach of SRI guidelines or outside the reasonable directions of SRI staff.
Other Conditions
All courses offered by Sarina Russo Institute are subject to student enrolment numbers.
Invoicing and Payment
Course fees are due within 14 days as stated on the invoice. Cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
If a purchase order is provided the terms and conditions contained in this invoice override the terms and conditions specified in that purchase order.
If our quote is based on a minimum number of participants, this will be specified in the quote.
Any agreed expense re-imbursements will be invoiced within 7 days of incurring the expense. Expenses are payable immediately on receipt of invoice.
If a course is cancelled or postponed at the client's request, all agreed expenses already incurred must be paid for in full. For the purpose of the sections titled 'Cancellations' in this document, expenses are not considered part of the course fees.
Where an account remains overdue SR Group reserves the right to charge the client a late fee plus any debts that may be incurred in the recovery of the outstanding invoices.
Cancellations Fees
When an applicant accepts a place offered by Sarina Russo Institute, a binding contract between the person who entered the contract and Sarina Russo Institute comes into existence subject to the conditions below.
This contract is subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Queensland.
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
Cancellations of students must be notified to Sarina Russo Institute no less than 2 business days prior to the commencement of a course. If this occurs no fee will be charged to client.
Cancellations of students that are advised less than 2 business days prior to the commencement of a course will incur a service fee of 75% of the course fee.
Sarina Russo Institute will take reasonable steps to confirm attendance for course commencement with students. Non attendance for course commencement by a student will be regarded as a cancellation without sufficient notice.
Any refund or reallocation of course fees is solely at the discretion of Sarina Russo Institute.
If a replacement student attends in place of a cancelled student or a student who has failed to commence, then no cancellation fee will be charged.
In the unlikely event that Sarina Russo Institute is unable to deliver your course in full, you will be offered a refund of all the course money you have paid to date. The refund will be paid to you within 4 weeks of the day on which the course ceased being provided. For providers covered by a Tuition Assurance Scheme, you may be offered enrolment in an alternative course by Sarina Russo Institute at no extra cost to you. You have the right to choose whether you would prefer a full refund of course fees, we will ask you to sign a document to indicate that you accept the placement. If Sarina Russo Institute is unable to provide a refund or place you in an alternative course our Tuition Assurance Scheme (TAS) ACPET and EA will place you in a suitable alternative course at no extra cost to you. Finally, if ACPET and EA can to place you in a suitable alternative course, the ESOS Assurance Fund Manager will attempt to place you in a suitable alternative course or, if this is not possible, you will be eligible for a refund as calculated by the Fund Manager.
No grievance Policy of Sarina Russo Institute removes the right of a person who has entered into an agreement with Sarina Russo Institute to pursue other legal remedies. This agreement and the availability of complaints and appeals process does not remove the right of the student to take action under Australia's consumer protection laws.
